Wembley Way

The latest stage of Investors In Sport’s personalisation project for our client, Wembley Stadium, has seen England football legend Sir Geoff Hurst, honoured with a personalised stone laid in celebration of his hat trick in the 1966 World Cup Final.

In a ceremony before England 1-0 friendly victory over Sweden, Sir Geoff’s stone was laid alongside those of each of the World Cup winning squad that beat West Germany 4-2. Wembley have now announced an opportunity for fans from all over the country and across the world to be  a permanent part of the venue’s history by laying a personalised stone on Wembley Way.

Investors In Sport is working with Wembley to transform the concourse surrounding the national stadium to create a stunning new landmark. The project follows on from the successful 3-stage project currently being conducted for Arsenal FC at The Emirates Stadium.

Made from the finest grey granite, the Wembley Way stones are provided by Investors In Sport as part of a fully managed commercial programme.

The company’s unique approach to personalisation projects has created an immediate reputation for delivering bespoke, branded projects to specific venues via a complete production, sales and management package.
